HOW WILL MY BRICKS BE DELIVERED? 

All bricks ordered from Brick Trader will be delivered to the kerb side. Once the driver reaches the delivery address, he will contact the customer to see if he can possibly unload the bricks exactly where the customer wants them. However, due to the nature of tail-lift vehicles and manual pallet trucks, it may be physically impossible for the driver to unload exactly where the customer wants. In such instances, the driver will unload at the nearest access point by the kerb.

Please note that for tail-lift vehicles, the driver will need a flat, level ground surface so that the tail can be parallel to the ground. For manual pallet trucks, a flat concrete road surface is mandatory and the driver will not be able to move the bricks over any soil, grass or gravel roads.

An exception is the use of vehicle mounted crane, or fork lifts, in which case the customer must provide all necessary labour, equipment and space required to unload the materials.

The customer shall be responsible for ensuring adequate access for the delivery and must advise of any restrictions which may result in an unsuccessful delivery ahead of purchase of the goods. An additional haulage charge will be applied and payable by the customer if the delivery cannot be completed due to accessibility or if the goods have to be redelivered or diverted to a different address.

 

DELIVERY LEAD TIME

Our cut off time for processing an order is 10am, and our shipping despatch is available only on working days (Monday-Friday excluding bank holidays). This means that if an order is made past the cut off time on Monday, the window for despatch will start on Tuesday. For example, if you placed an order 2pm Monday afternoon for 3-5 working days delivery, you should be expecting to receive your order between Thursday same week to Monday following week.

 

Possible Additional Charges

All delivery is non-refundable and collection/return of each pack is subject to a minimum of £95.00 ex. VAT charge plus a re-stocking charge of 15%.

Please note that any amendments to the delivery requirements or the delivery address may result in additional fees. Any delays or difficulties caused by the customer’s negligence or failure to notify in good notice shall be payable by the customer. Possible scenarios include but are not limited to: refused delivery, except if the goods are faulty or not the ones ordered; redirection to a different location rather than the one provided at the time of the order; rescheduled delivery; delivery that cannot be completed due to accessibility (a wasted journey); excessive time driver is held on site for unloading.
